Chris Arbuckle, owner/operator of Aspiring Environmental Ltd
“The Wanaka area; Mount Aspiring and Matukituki Valley are in my heart. A day in the Matukituki Valley settles my will, clears my mind and motivates me to focus on what’s important in my life.” Chris Arbuckle.
I was born and bred in Otago and have lived in the ‘deep south’ for most of my life. I currently live in Dunedin, New Zealand. I love watching my two children enjoy sport and other endeavours. I also enjoy mountain biking, photography and walking/tramping.
After 20+ years in the fresh water ‘industry’, I am starting a fresh journey within this “wicked problem” of water management. I want to invest my time with people whom need knowledge and guidance to do “the right thing” to Aspire to new heights of Environmental Management. I believe that an informed approach, and providing a helping "hand", which includes all stakeholders and regulatory agencies, is critical to making progress on this challenge.
I am commited to putting my money where my mouth is, so Aspiring Environmental supports Touchstone. Touchstone is a community funded project, working with Wanaka citizens who are looking after the health of Lake Wanaka.
